How to host a barbecue party without breaking a sweat
Summer may be winding down, but there's still time to gather your favourite people, fire up the grill, and make the most of the sunshine. Here are five simple ways to make your end-of-summer barbecue party one to remember.
1. Don’t overthink the food
You don't need an elaborate spread to make the day feel special. Keep the grill simple, and lay out some sharing plates with ready-made finger foods. You can even make it a potluck and watch the table fill up with unexpected favourites! Less time in the kitchen, more time with your loved ones.
2. Set up a DIY bar
Whether you're going all out on Pimm's or keeping things low-key because little ones are around, a DIY bar is a great way to kick things off. Set up a self-serve drinks station with fizz, juices, and plenty of ice, and let everyone play bartender for the afternoon. Our retro summer drink recipes are a great place to find inspiration.

3. Add a few festive touches
Summer is the perfect excuse to embrace colour. String up some bunting and hang a few lanterns to instantly brighten the space. The right tableware can do most of the decorating for you, so bring out the patterned tablecloths and whimsical cutlery.

4. Don't forget the games
