Is there anything more joyful than a sale? I love getting organised in the new year and with the Rex London sale, I always ensure all my bargains can be put to good use. I love stocking up on presents, organising my home and gifting some little treats to myself! I always try to buy by William Morris’s adage to ‘not have anything in your home that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful’. Here are all the lovely and useful things I managed to bag for the total sum of £30.

Modern Man clothes brush

I’m trying to really look after my clothes this year, so as to buy fewer and make them last. With a house that contains both children and pets, its so
easy for any clothes items to get pretty shabby quickly, so I love the ritual of a little brush down on jackets and collars before leaving the house. I’ve
placed this brush on the shelf by my front door and love the pleasingly retro look and natural wood handle.

Modern Man travel shaving mirror

While we’re on the theme of grooming, I love this modern man travel shaving mirror. Men are notoriously hard to buy for and this is the perfect little gift for any of the men in your life.

Astrid Olive wrapping paper

Wrapping presents is one of my favourite past times, and if you’re a wrapping paper hoarder like me, you’ll be pleased to see the beautiful Astrid Olive wrapping paper in the sale for just £2.95 for 5 sheets. This fun nostalgic design appeals to lots of different ages and is a dream to wrap with!

Mint Green organic cotton net bag

These organic cotton net bags are so incredibly useful to have. I always carry one in my handbag as an alternative to a plastic bag, they hold lots of things and I love the ‘gone to the market’ style aesthetic.

Harry the Crocodile placemat

If you have small people in your house then placemats are a must for catching all those cheeky crumbs! Not only for food though, these are also great to get out when doing messy arts and crafts, slime and playdough. Wipe clean and with Harry’s oh-so-cute face, what’s not to love?!

Astrid Flower ring binder

We’ve just renovated a built in cupboard for my pre-teen daughter’s bedroom to include a desk area, and this Astrid Flower ring binder is perfect for keeping all her notes and drawings tidily tucked away.

Charlie The Rocking Horse swaddling blanket and Pear night light

There are some amazing gifts in the sale to get for any little ones in your life, and this adorable swaddling blanket and sweet pear night light are such lovely gifts for babies. The swaddling blanket is generously sized, so soft and just the thing for wrapping those squishy arms! The pear night light is great for nursery decor as well as for older children who still like to keep the darkness at bay.

Top Banana tissue paper

Not only is tissue paper so handy for wrapping gifts, but it’s also a great thing to have in your craft stash. The top banana design is such a fun print for using in decoupage projects for kids - decoupage is cutting out paper
elements and then collaging them onto other things using a special glue. We have magazine boxes, gift boxes and all sorts ready to be decoupaged in this pretty tissue.

Love Birds eco can

We love these handy eco cans for wintery walks, they are the perfect alternative for single use bottles or coffee cups and they are such a gorgeous design to boot! The kids love them for cosy hot chocolates, while I enjoy using them for my daily caffeine hit!

World Map mini travel case

I love a weekend away but my idea of packing light still needs a little work! However, this travel case is super handy for ear pods, jewellery or any small items you want to take away and know where they are. Perfect for slipping into your hand luggage and being able to grasp whenever you need.
