New Year’s Eve may feel like a distant memory already, but it’s never too late to come up with some New Year’s resolutions. Here are some ideas to help inspire you, plus tips to make sure you stick to them.

1. Get organised with a bullet journal

You’ve probably seen these enviable life-planners all over Instagram. The bullet journal is a clever, creative system – it’s a quick and easy way of keeping track of life, projects, goals and dreams. Take a look at our Top Ten Tips for Bullet Journals to find out more and get organised in Pinterest-worthy style this year.

2. Cut back on booze

Plenty of people start the year with good intentions, buoyed by the Dry January movement. However, if you want to keep it going beyond just the first month of the year, you’ll need some gorgeous drinks that don’t make you miss the vino at all. 3. Take up a new hobby

It’s easy to let our interests and passions fall by wayside, but it’s as important to nurture them as it is our physical and mental health. So, whether it’s learning something new or going back to a childhood activity, give a new hobby a go. We suggest trying it for at least a month to get the full benefit and see if it’s something you want to pursue.

4. Prep your meals

Meal prepping has countless benefits, from saving you time and money to helping you manage portion control and eat more healthily. Make the task a little more enjoyable by popping your nibbles into a cute snack pot, or filling up a brilliant bento box with a wholesome lunch.

5. Make time for travel

Travelling can be one of the most exciting things life has to offer. Whether you’d like to stay in beautiful blighty or travel the globe to an exotic country, there’s never been a better time to get planning. Whether you’re making it a solo excursion, a girls’ trip, or a romantic weekend getaway, you’ll come back feeling refreshed and with memories that’ll last a lifetime.

6. Declutter your home

This can be anything from sorting the kitchen cupboards to getting rid of bags of clothes you’ve been meaning to take to the charity shop. We like to think that a less cluttered home can result in a less cluttered mind.
