With many festivals going ahead this year (hurrah!), we want to be sure that you have all the essentials (plus a few fun non-essentials too) ready and packed for a hassle-free, fun-fuelled weekend! Here are our top 11 ideas for things you don't want to forget when heading out to a festival this summer.

1. USB charger

Our phones are so much more than just phones now; they're our maps, and our cameras, and our alarms and calendars, all things which are key to having a stress-free, memorable weekend. Make sure your phone always has plenty of juice with a portable charger.

2. Mini travel case

You'll want to take the bare minimum with you to a festival, so a mini travel case is the perfect solution for storing and protecting those little essentials, such as jewellery, headphones and medicines.

3. Plasters

Having your own plasters to hand will help you quickly cover any little cuts and scrapes rather than having to hunt down the first aid tent. Our fun sets of plasters come in a handy tin, which you can reuse to store and carry other festival essentials, or create your own mini first aid kit.

4. Compact mirror and brush

Packing light is the key to any festival trip, so any item that is travel-sized, or has multiple uses, is a winner. This handy hairbrush includes a mirror in the lid, and folds down to a compact size, ideal for pockets or bum bags.

5. Wash bag

Hopefully you've managed to condense all your toiletries and medicines down into travel sizes, or have at least narrowed it all down to the bare essentials. Keep everything organised and easily accessible in a slimline yet spacious washbag.

6. Snack bags

You'll need to keep your energy up if you're going to make the most of your festival weekend! Stash non-perishable, filling snacks like cereal bars and dried fruit in a handy snack bag. You can pack these ahead of time to help avoid bringing excess packaging and rubbish onto the festival site. These cute snack bags are reusable, resealable, and take up far less space than any tupperware.

7. Reusable water bottle

Keeping the eco-friendly theme in mind, try and bring a reuseable water bottle if you can. Many festivals now offer water stations and taps on site in a bid to reduce the number of single-use plastic bottles. This stylish bottle folds down flat once empty, again making it a great space (and weight!) saver.

An insulated bag is the perfect thing if you're attending a more relaxed festival and are able to picnic on the grass. Keep snacks and drinks cool in this foil-lined, roomy picnic bag, made from recycled plastic.

This quirky little keyring features a light bulb shaped-light, ideal for tying securely to your bag or keys. It can also be used to wave in the air as you watch your favourite band!
